The historic material shows that in the Viking Age there must have been professional craftsmen, ironsmiths, goldsmiths, comb makers, shipbuilders, probably also shoemakers and not to forget the professional group of wood carvers and textile artists that can be seen behind the Oseberg discovery.
Despite their reputation as fierce warriors that "went viking", the Norsemen were skilled craftsmen and traders and they traded with other cultures throughout Europe and beyond.
In Dyneja, you also learn crafts. You learn to make your own training weapons. These are simple techniques for making this that are fun and exciting to learn. Nothing to fear for anyone, we have 13 year old studenst who make equipment themselves. You get full training on descriptions / drawings / videos that are available on the member pages.
The Norsemen were skilled craftsmen and that is also important to us in the larger context of Dynja.
(But if you would rather buy training weapons, this is perfectly fine - but ask your trainer about this first so that you buy the right equipment).
